IMPROVING ITS EDUCATION QUALITY, UDINUS’ BACHELOR OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE FINALLY ACHIEVED ‘SUPERIOR’ ACCREDITATION

Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) continues to make significant improvements in its education. In a recent achievement, the English Language Study program at Udinus attained superior accreditation. This distinguished accreditation was bestowed upon the program by the esteemed National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT). 
 
The English Language Study program's accreditation certificate, numbered 2045/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/V/2023, validated by the executive board director of BAN-PT in this late June. The accreditation is valid from June 27th, 2023 until January 20th, 2027. 
 
Dr. Sunardi S.S., M.Pd., The Head of the English Language Major said that the achievement was the result of the accreditation team’s hard work as well as the persistence of Udinus in developing education quality.
 
"Thanks to all the hard work of the academic community, the Bachelor of English Language program at Udinus has finally achieved superior accreditation," Dr. Sunardi said. "This achievement not only acknowledges our success but also gives a challenge for us to maintain the quality of all study programs in the Faculty of Humanities (FIB)." 
 
Previously known as the English Literature program, this study program underwent an official name change to English Language in 2019. This decision was made with the intention of enhancing graduates' profiles in the work field.
 
To respond the noteworthy achievement, Dr. Raden Arief Nugroho S.S., M.Hum., The Dean of FIB Udinus, congratulated the entire team for their exceptional work in obtaining the accreditation. Regarding the government's initiative to enhance Indonesian education on the international level, Udinus is now setting its sights on reaching international accreditation. 
 
“We are aiming the international accreditation not only for the Bachelor of English Language but also for the Bachelor of Japanese Language and the Bachelor of Applied Hotel Management," he informed.
