The Computer Science Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) welcomed the freshmen with a color battle and dancing exercises on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024. Those two events were a part of the 2024 Dinus Inside, participated by 1,220 new students of the Computer Science Faculty.

Dr. Abdul Syukur, M.M., the Dean of the Computer Science Faculty, was present to deliver a speech and witness the whole event. During his speech, the dean encouraged new students to embrace the moment of solidarity.

“Welcome abroad, enjoy let us enjoy this very moment before you begin your studies, as you will later have to focus on graduating on time, with excellent grades. These excellent grades will support you in finding a job in the industry,” Dr. Abdul Syukur uttered.

The event took place in the courtyard of the G building, with all freshmen attending it. Guided by the event committee, they were seen dancing and enjoying artistic performances presented by representatives from each department.

As the performances ended, the freshmen engaged in a color battle using color powders. The powders would be thrown in the air, filling the venue with colors. The battle concluded the entire event with happiness and joy.

Eka, one of the freshmen majoring in Communication Science, expressed her joy in participating at the vent. She stated that the last day of the 2024 Dinus Inside of the Computer Science Faculty was a source of excitement allowing students to solidify their bonds with one another.

“It was fun, we were having fun and enjoying our moment. The color battle was the best one for it being the climax of the 2024 Dinus Inside. We hope Udinus keeps improving for a better future,” Eka revealed. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Foto: Humas Udinus)
