Watching cartoons has been a hobby possessed by Aisyah Nadia Kusuma since childhood. In addition to enjoying animated media, Aisya, better known as Ais, is also passionate about reading comics at the library. This passion for animation art guided her to replicate and redraw illustrations she had seen.

Ais eventually stepped into the field of drawing in high school. Upon realizing that her drawings were good, Ais began to participate in drawing contests on social media.

Ais emerged victorious upon competing in various contests as if she were destined to. “I started engaging in competitions as an eleventh grader. At that time, there was a weekly comic contest on social media; I competed in it and won. Then, I decided to use the prize money for drawing tools and allowance,” she memorized.

Upon realizing her talent from the contest, Ais, currently a seventh-semester student,decided to continue her study in the Department of Applied Animation at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) after graduating from high school. “I chose the Animation Study Program to pursue my drawing passion,” she uttered.

Ais, the winner of the original character contest on the KOOMIK platform, also earns a living through her talent by becoming a freelancer freelance illustrator and animator on a website known as Fiveer. “I think it is worth it as nowadays I live independently. From the income I gathered, I couldupgrade my drawing utensils and save the rest,” she shared.

Ais expressed her thanks to the Department of Animation for connecting her with her friends of the same hobby. “Despite having been in many hardships from assignments, I could solidify my bonds with my fellow animation students, who support me to this day,” Ais uttered.
