Participating in a Student League Mobile Legends E-Sports of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta Conference (CJYC), two teams representing Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) known as Udinus-1 and Udinus-2 successfully claimed their victories.

During the match, those two teams defeated other E-Sports teams and faced their counterpart at the final stage. The Udinus-2 team led by Arnanda Arshaffa M made a triumph against the Udinus-1 team led by Benedictus Devito. Despite competing against each other, they made it to the national level.

The event, which was participated by teams representing their campuses in Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta, allowed each university to send more than one team.

Arnanda revealed that he did not expect to face their counterpart in the final stage. He hoped to compete against a team from Udinus once again at the national level. “We will always be determined to make our way in the national and international competitions,” he explained.

The Udinus-1 team consisted of Benedictus Devito as a supporter, Bramasta Ghazy Assyfani as a jungler, Dimas Bayu Pratama as a side laner, M Deni Kurniadai as a tank, Aldhila Zhar Ardhana as an offlaner, and Jihad Maulana as a supporter.

Whereas, the Udinus-2 team involved Arnanda Arshaffa M as the team captain, Verdynand as a side laner and commander, Prathama as a supporter, Evn Endyka as a jungler and central player, Wafiq as an offlaner, and Bayu as a tank.

The leader of the Udinus-1 team, Benedictus Devito, revealed that the whole academic community at Udinus held an important role in supporting them during the match. “During the competition, we were facilitated with a room and wi-fi,” he revealed.

Mobile Legend itself is a game developed by Moonton Developer. It has been downloaded more than a hundred million times on Google Play Store since its launch in 2016.

In an attempt to support its students in the field of E-Sports, Udinus also established E-Sports programs serving as a platform to sustain not only Mobile Legends players, but also various players of many different video games including Defense of the Ancient (DOTA 2), Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO), Point Blank (PB), Arena of Valor (AoV), and League of Legend (LoL).
