Her ability in research, curiosity, and disciplined nature led Tri Ningsih Purwito, also known as Nina, to keep moving forward on her career path. Nina, an alumna of the Broadcasting Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), has a 7-year experience in the digital strategist position.

 

In late 2015, her persistence brought her to be offered two career paths namely, a producer at CNN and MNC or a Digital Planner at Detik.com, the biggest digital industry in Indonesia. In making her decision, Nina had various considerations, mainly regarding the future of the media itself.

“Eventually, I decided to continue my career as a Digital Planner at Detik in 2016, even though I encountered many obstacles as I had to learn this sector from the beginning. Moreover, I was basically a content creator and reporter at that time,” she explained.

 

As a digital planner, Nina, born on March 20, 1990, must focus on advertisers' and businesses’ needs. In addition to working in that media, she once embarked on her career in several famous Indonesian media namely as a Senior Digital Strategist at Kumparan and as a Section Head Digital Strategist at Tempo.com.

 

Her tenacity and experience kept providing her with platforms to improve her career level. Not only that but her ability to develop the knowledge she gained on campus and manage media also made her get many enticing job offers at various Indonesian media in early 2021.

 

“I currently work as a Campaign Strategist Lead at the Narasi Media. My job is to help develop businesses in the media by crafting campaign ideas that may assist the campaign advertiser through a consideration process of several ratings at this media,” said the owner of the @missn20 Instagram account.

 

Prior to becoming an expert, Nina, who graduated in 2011, looked for job opportunities by undergoing a Media Development Program Test (MDP) held by NET TV, which at that time was under the supervision of Wishnutama. Among the tens of thousands of participants, she triumphantly became one of the 150 employees who worked under Wishnutama’s direction.

 

“I gained my experience at NET TV for merely 1.5 years and I decided to enhance my earned experience at other media. I did all of that to improve my skills and knowledge regarding the media industry,” she explained.

 

For four years from 2008 to 2011, Nina managed to gather her industrial insight during her study in the Department of Broadcasting at Udinus. Additionally, she was indeed interested in being a writer and journalist. As a student, she could also gain experience at TVKU, a TV station owned by Udinus. At TVKU, she began to showcase the theories she learned on campus.

 

“Not only did it serve as a platform to gather professionalism, but Udinus also provided me with an extraordinary learning experience.
