It is a hobby for M. Dalvin Marno Putra to keep up with technological advancements in this era. Through that hobby, he could achieve his goal of engaging in the IT sector at a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN).

Dalvin is currently working as an IT staff and the Transformation and Development Bureau at Indra Karya Ltd. One of his innovations was conducting an update in a system utilized in his workplace. Additionally, Dalvin is forming a team to develop a system serving as a connector of six divisions in various cities with headquarters. “My past and current innovations could not just be conducted like that, as it must require approval from several parties involved to avoid the worst possibilities,” he revealed.

Dalvin, born on July 12, 1996, in Kudus, is an alumnus of the Undergraduate Informatics Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus). According to him, every knowledge he gathered on campus is important as it is relevant to the current industry standard. To initiate a career in industry a programmer must keep honing their skills and learning programming language. “Other than learning programming language, public speaking skills are also necessary as you would later be pushed to explain how the program works to the users. Therefore, you must also hone your public speaking and negotiation skills,” he uttered.

In addition to classrooms, Dalvin also gathered knowledge through campus organizations. With campus organizations, one will be trained to face and resolve real-world problems standing before them. “Organizations also taught me to respect each other regardless of position. Moreover, the ability to work as a team is also necessary in industry,” he concluded. (Humas/Haris. Foto: Dok. Pribadi)
