The feeling of joy and pride always resides on Vannia’s face whenever she reaches her dreams. Vannia Indy Dhea Sylva (22), an Undergraduate Management Student at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), always pursues her dreams and has essentially become academically and non-academically accomplished.
The first experience Vannia obtained was when she participated in a beauty contest, namely the 2016 Kendal Tourism Ambassador Event and she emerged as the runner-up. Afterward, she became more and more determined to enhance her potential by participating in many competitions.
“Winning or losing is only a usual thing and it has fundamentally become a part of my journey,” Vannia uttered.
She has earned lots of achievements including, a contender at the 2020 Education Ambassador in Central Java and Yogyakarta with the theme ‘Representation of Moral Millennials and Youths in the Wings Community’. Additionally, she also became the 2020 Pepelingasih Ambassador in Central Java hosted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports themed ‘Tree Planting in Sukomulyo as a Real Action’, and many more.
Not only has she got tons of accomplishments but Vannia, born on July 22, 1999, in Kendal, is also currently running three businesses with a total of Rp. 17 million in monthly turnover. She runs those three businesses on Instagram such as her skincare business that has been running since 2018 named @vanniabeauty22. In her business, every product has been verified by the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM).
“I have also been maintaining a fashion business named @nanjah_Fashion since early 2020, it mainly sells imported bags and shoes,” she added.
Furthermore, she also owns a healthy culinary business established in 2020 called @baksocerdasaja. This healthy meatball made of peanuts is targeted at people with high levels of cholesterol tolerance and vegans. She established this business to prosper her local community by empowering home businesses and local delivery partners.
“I dedicate this business to those who want to live healthily without worrying about saturated fat. Additionally, contributing to prosper my local community by empowering home businesses and local delivery partners is also one of my aims,” uttered the owner of the @vanniaindy Instagram account.
Vannia, a student of the 2018 cohort, has also actively participated in campus organizations, one of which is a part of the Student Resource Development Team in the Economic and Business Faculty Student Executives (BEM FEB). Moreover, she once got the opportunity to be a Master of Ceremony (MC) at an international event discussing ‘Management Sports and Culture Organization in Taiwan and Thailand Area.’
“I have gained tons of opportunities, studies, and experiences, during my service in the Student Executives. One of my memorable moments was when I had the chance to have a conversation with the Governor of Central Java himself at the 2021 Summit Event,” uttered the finalist of 2017 Putri Dirgantara Indonesia.
