Being an entrepreneur who loves their job might allow them to build a workplace. Ajeng Pradani, an alumna of the Visual Communication Design Study Program at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), did exactly that.

Ajeng initially established her business with the sole purpose of being a graphic designer. Then, she began to open product designing services such as logo and packaging designs; it is important to note that Ajeng normally markets her designed products through her Instagram account named @Osweda. “In addition to marketing through the Internet, I also get many word-of-mouth clients since I involve myself in many communities; consequently, many of my friends recommend my services to others,” Ajeng, a former member of the campus pers and Student Executives (BEM-KM) at Udinus, explained.

Ajeng, born on April 29, 1993, in Pemalang, has always dreamed of becoming a graphic designer. On top of that, she also possesses the desire to become an entrepreneur with time freedom, financial freedom, and job opportunities within her palm. “I established Osweda Studio to convey my creativity and talent, as well as work my dream job, no matter how difficult it could be,” Ajeng revealed.

Upon graduating, Ajeng worked at a photo studio and as a remote designer at a design studio. At a later time, she became an employee at a procurement and printing company in her hometown; through her job, she would later open the Osweda Studio. “Don’t you ever look at your current self, instead look at where you are in the future. Moreover, thinking positively and being confident in your skills are also essential,” she quoted.

To become an entrepreneur competing in industry, Ajeng revealed that every department on campus would be given the opportunity to learn entrepreneurship.
