Kevin Aliffanova Ardisa (23) successfully obtained a scholarship to pursue his master’s degree. Kevin, an alumnus of the Engineering Faculty at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus), also possesses an ambition to become a university lecturer.
Kevin, born in Pemalang on November 20th, 1999, admittedly claimed once he got a grip on his determination, he would never let go and utilize it to its fullest. His success in obtaining a scholarship was also accredited to a professor intrigued by Kevin’s thesis.
“My thesis discusses informatics material research and it is relevant to the field of study,” Kevin explained.
Initially, Kevin didn’t expect to be able to get a scholarship since he only completed the requirements in a short amount of time. One of the requirements was an essay relating to the desired study program. Kevin chose Physics Engineering as his major in the scholarship
“My eagerness to get a master's degree and become a lecturer led me to register for three different scholarship programs. However, I only succeed in one of them, and it was the last one,” he uttered.
Kevin claimed that during his study at Udinus, he had many opportunities to gain knowledge. Additionally, the campus atmosphere could support him very well to grasp many accomplishments. On top of that, the whole academic community at Udinus also provided him with help, this was evident in his desire of becoming a lecturer.
“The Undergraduate Informatics Study Program Department is very capable of sustaining its students' needs including, a fully equipped computer lab and a coding workshop functioning as a place for students to discuss their research,” Kevin concluded.
