DIPLOMA OF INFORMATICS PROGRAM ATTAINED ‘SUPERIOR’ ACCREDITATION, EXPANDS VARIOUS INDUSTRY COLLABORATIONS TO SPREAD DIGITAL IMPLEMENTATION

Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) continues to improve the quality its study programs. This statement is proven by the latest accreditation achievement of the Diploma of Informatics Engineering Study Program. The program, which is under the supervision of the Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) Udinus, managed to achieve ‘Superior’ Accreditation. 
 
This highest accreditation status was given on the Diploma of Informatics Program by the National Accreditation Board and Higher Education known as BAN-PT, which is mentioned in the accreditation certificate No. 1922/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/D3/V/2023. The accreditation certificate issued by the Director of the BAN-PT Executive Board, listed that the superior status attained by the Diploma of Informatics Program at FCS Udinus is available from May 23, 2023, until September 23, 2025. 
 
The Head of the Informatics Diploma Program, Dr. Fikri Budiman, M.Kom, stated that the recent accreditation was just the beginning of the quality improvement of the study program. Dr. Fikri was proud that the accreditation of the Diploma of Informatics Study Program has been upgraded to the highest accreditation. 
 
He was hoping that students would be able to make the best use of the opportunity to improve the quality of graduates, faculty members, and various aspects. Furthermore, students are expected to continue implementing digitalization in diverse companies. In simple terms, digitalization refers to the process of transforming technologies that were once analog or traditional way into digital formats. 
 
"Thanks to the hard work and support from all academic community at Udinus. In the future, we will continue to distribute the application of digitization by increasing the number of collaborations with companies in Indonesia," said Fikri. 
 
Interviewed separately, the Dean of Udinus’ FCS, Dr. Drs. Abdul Syukur, was proud of the accreditation achieved by the Diploma of Informatics Program. He also mentioned that the Computer Science Faculty always maintained the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for each study program. One key aspect of this effort is ensuring the high quality of Human Resources (HR) in terms of their educational levels and certifications aligned with their respective study programs. The Computer Science Faculty, which currently offers 13 study programs, also remains dedicated to maintaining the quality of its academic output, including research and accomplishments. 
 
"We are proud of the superior achievement of the Informatics Diploma Program, currently there are 4 study programs in this faculty that have superior accreditation.
