The Department of Management at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) once again received the ‘Superior’ accreditation, which will be valid for the next five years. In addition, the accreditation was bestowed by the Independent Economic Business Management and Accounting Accreditation Institution (Lamemba), which conducted a visitation on the campus not long ago.

The accreditation bestowed on the Management Department has been listed on the accreditation certificate with the number 385/DE/A.5/AR.10/IV/2023. As listed on the certificate, it stated that the Undergraduate Management Program had been rightfully accredited as ‘Superior’ from April 17th, 2023, to April 17th, 2028.

Dr. Mahumud S.E., M.M., the Head of the Management Program at Udinus, stated that the success earned by his department truly described how the program had reached the highest possible quality and standard, with the quality referring to both learning input and output processes. Moreover, he also added that upon receiving the accreditation, the department would aim to improve the quality of various aspects, including the quality of its faculty members and graduates.

In the process of achieving the ‘Superior’ accreditation, the Department of Undergraduate Management had to hand in the required files, as those files were needed to conduct the reaccreditation process, as well as an assessment organized offline by the assessor from the Lamemba.

“We had been prepared for the accreditations since long before it took place. Through our dedication to enhancing the quality of this department, we successfully managed to maintain the ‘Superior’ accreditation,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Prof. Vincent Didiek Wiet Aryanto, Mba., Ph.D., expressed his utmost pride for the success achieved by the Department of Management. In addition, his party was also committed to refining the education system at Udinus, particularly in the Undergraduate Management Program.

“We are also proud of the accreditation attained by the Department of Management. Currently, we would like to push other departments within the Economic and Business Faculty to accomplish the same,” the dean hoped. (Humas Udinus/Alex. Ilustrasi: Humas Udinus)
