The Concentration Seminar (Connar) was an event hosted by the Undergraduate Management Department at Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, (Udinus) to guide students in choosing the best concentrations for them. The seminar employed the theme ‘Shaping Futures with Wise Choices,’ with 301 Management students of the 2022 cohort participating in it.
The event, which was a product of collaboration with the Management Student Association (HMM), was conducted online using the Zoom Meeting platform on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024. The seminar aimed to explain the concentrations within the Management Department for students to choose from.
Dr. Mahmud, S.E., M.M., the Head of the Management Department at Udinus, stated that the Connar served as a routine event to give students proper ideas concerning all four concentrations in the current curriculum.
“We offer four concentrations, including Marketing, Human Resources Management, Financial, and Operational. Through this seminar, students are expected to get the idea concerning all offered concentrations,” he uttered.
“We are committed to shaping students to be more competent in the professional realm. For that reason, they will master their respective expertise,” Dr. Mahmud stated.

Vicky Tanaka, the Head of the Committee for the seminar, explained that the event provided 30 minutes for each concentration to be discussed. Furthermore, students were also allowed to ask speakers concerning those four concentrations.
“Students were seen asking questions to the speakers, which showed how enthusiastic they were in the seminar. Hopefully, the Concentration Seminar can be hosted more routinely to shape our fellow students to become exceptional graduates,” Vicky explained. (Humas Udinus/Haris. Foto: Humas Udinus)
